SESSION ONE: ADVANCED FILMMAKING
DATES: December 26-29, 2017
Students will create their own short film. This advanced course has a limited number of students. Each group begins with a brainstorming session. Before the end of the day we start a quick paced, crash course on script writing, storyboards, and the creative process. Students will explore different film departments and will choose a specific role to focus on (Camera, Sound, Lighting, Sets, Costumes, Props). The students will be using professional film equipment and editing software generously provided by one of our sponsors. Join us on Friday, December 29th for an open premier/party of their short films. Experience with film, drama, or theater is required, or submit a short paragraph describing other relevant experience. Previous campers are always welcome to re-enroll.
