SESSION TWO: INTRO TO FILMMAKING
DATES: January 2-5, 2018
Students will learn a variety of storytelling elements that go into Filmmaking. Groups of 5-6 students brainstorm, create plot & characters, draw storyboards, and build sets. By the end of the workshop, they will have a completed film trailer for their movie. Kids will experiment with stop motion animation, puppets and many creative storytelling techniques. While filming a trailer and having fun the students explore professional techniques for drama, theatre, and the general creative arts. The students will be able to replicate the skills they learn at home with family and friends. Join us Friday, January 5th for a screening party with our friends and family. No prior film experience is required.
