About the Chef

Dominique Rizzo, as a native of France is no stranger to the world of great cooking.  At the young age of 15 Dominique began his culinary career as an apprentice under the watchful wings of some of France’s best, and successfully refined his skills creating his own style.

Dominique worked at Le Miraville in Paris, then ventured to Monaco where he worked under Alain Ducass and Sylvain Portay at le Louis XV in the Hotel de Paris. After a brief stint at L’Apicius in Paris, Dominique followed Portay to New York where he worked as Chef de party at Le Cirque. Dominique returned to France, invited to work at Relais et Chateau- La Pinede in Saint Tropez before moving to Boston to head up the kitchen at Le Julien at Le Meridien Hotel. New Orleans’ Hotel St. Louis sought him out and brought him to Louisiana to open their La Louisianne Restaurant.  Noting that there were very few French bakeries in New Orleans, he decided to venture out and open the best bakery in town, La Boulangerie. After 15 years he decided to take some time to himself and sold La Boulangerie to the Link Restaurant Group. Rizzo has since been enjoying some well deserved quality time!

Art Klub is thrilled to have seduced him back to his roots as he honors us as chef for our Threesome Aphrodisiac Dinner. You know it will be decadent and divine dining!
